She is Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Wife, Entrepreneur, Teacher, COO, CEO, Engineer, Doctor, Leader, Household manager…and she shall be called “Woman!” She prays and sacrifices for her family, gives comfort, manages, organizes, and governs, but often remains nameless. As she submits herself to the plan of God for her life, she mindfully prepares the way for generations to reap the benefits of her sacrificial love, wisdom, knowledge, instructions, hard work and skill. Even when life leads her to a wilderness experience or a horrible pit, as the Lord leads her out, she joyfully shares so others can reap the benefits from her experience. She Is “Woman Preparing The Way!”
Who Should Attend: Any woman aged 18 or above who desires to:
Reverend Earma Lane accepted her call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 1999. She was licensed and ordained by Pastor Ronald R. Jones of Silver Springs MBC in Smyrna, TN. Rev. Lane and her husband Michael L. Lane Sr. have two children, Natasha and Michael II, two grandsons Elijah and Isaiah, and twin god-daughters, Tabreyah and Sabreyah. Her hobbies include going to the movies (even alone), reading a good book, spending time with family, playing badminton, singing, eating good food, and spending time at the beach.
Rev. Lane was educated in the Rutherford County school system. She has earned an AA in Psychology/Christian Counseling from Liberty University and an AA in Christian Education. She, along with her sister Rev. Joyce Lytle founded S.E.E (Save-Empower-Encourage) Christian Ministry whose primary focus, at this time, is to equip women to live victorious lives by teaching practical application of the Word of God, providing group and individual spiritual counseling, and individual support.
Rev. Lane has a special zeal to serve young women who are willing to participate in their transformation. Her goals include but are not limited to: obeying God at all cost, love His people, be a living example of the power of God, and give of herself as directed by the Holy Spirit. Rev. Lane truly believes, “There is nothing too hard for God.” ”My God given passions is to Preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with simplicity and practical application so that every willing soul can experience the exceeding greatness of Christ transforming power.”
Rev. Shetika Oglesby-Phelps is a native and resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She has accomplished many goals in her lifetime, but the two things that she is most proud and passionate about is having the opportunity to be a mother of two daughters, Maia and Kaia, and one son, Isaia, and to walk into the classroom daily and pursue her dream job as an educator.
Rev. Phelps was called into the gospel ministry by God in February of 2000. She has diligently given God her all in teaching and preaching of the gospel since that time. Rev. Phelps currently serves as an associate minister at Olive Branch Church, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where Dr. Vincent L. Windrow is Senior Pastor. She works alongside other associates on the Ministerial Alliance where she serves honorably and humbly participating in the following areas of ministry: Worship Leader, Teacher of Adult Bible Study, Women Ministry, Youth Ministry Advisor, and a key contributor in the after-school education enrichment program during the summer. Her life is driven by the words of Paul in Philippians 3:13,14, “Brethren I count myself to not have apprehended, but forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”.
Rev. Phelps was educated in Rutherford County Schools. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education from Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, Tennessee. She is currently employed by the Rutherford County School system as a 2nd grade teacher at Barfield Elementary School in Murfreesboro, TN. She knows without a shadow of a doubt that God opens doors that no man can shut and God shuts doors no man can open.
In her spare time, Rev. Phelps enjoys time with family and friends, along with going to the movies and coaching and watching basketball.
Every day Reverend Phelps uses I Corinthians 15:58 as a compass and guide; “Be ye steadfast, unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord”. Her favorite scripture in this season is Psalms 81:10, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt. Open wide your mouth, and I will fill it”. Her goal daily is to please God in all that she does, serve others, exemplify God’s love and compassion, edify the people, glorify the Father, and terrify the enemy.
